Nubia red magic 5 was launched in China with top of the notch specifications and clearly aimed towards the gaming community. For the past few years this company came up with some of its great phones with great specs and this phone is aiming the same with the gaming community. The Red Magic 5 has been listed on the company websites for the US, Canada, Australia, Europe, the UK, Israel, Singapore, Hong Kong, Japan, Indonesia, Taiwan, and Macau. but unfortunately, on an Indian website, it is not listed yet and not likely to be launched in India.

Initially, when it was launched in China, it came with its 4 variants but after the global launch, it will be coming only with 2 of its variants -
- 8GB/128GB model for $579/EUR 579/GBP 539
color - Eclipse Black and Hot Rod Red colors,
- 12GB/256GB version for $649/EUR 649/GBP 599.

SPECIFICATIONS -
As earlier mentioned this phone is a proper gaming phone and comes with some great stuff inside its retail boxes. This phone is power-packed and has the capability of running most of the games in its highest graphic settings. This phone is having the top of the notch specs -
DISPLAY -
it comes with a 6.65-inch AMOLED FHD+ display (1080 x 2340 pixels) and one of the main highlight of this phone is having a 144 Hz refresh rate which is the highest screen refresh rate on any of the smartphone out there in the market.
But we came up with the rumors that ONE PLUS 8 series is also having a 144 Hz refresh rate.
PROCESSOR -
octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 865 SoC, this is the latest and most powerful smartphone chipset which has been launched by Qualcomm.
It is paired with an Adreno 650 GPU for graphics performance, this means all the graphic content can be viewed at the highest setting whether it is game or any multimedia content.
RAM -
It has up to 12GB of LPDDR5 RAM and 256GB of UFS 3.0 internal memory for the global markets
CAMERA -
- For photography, it is having a tertiary camera setup, 64-megapixel Sony IMX686 sensor, an 8-megapixel secondary sensor, and a 2-megapixel tertiary sensor.
Again in the camera department, it is having its full potential to compete with all the other flagship-level phones out here in the market.
- It is capable of shooting 8K recordings and slow-motion recording at 1080p at 240 fps. This feature till now only seen in Samsung galaxy s20 ultra and not on any other smartphone.
- It is also having 8mp front-facing camera as well.
BATTERY -
There are shoulder trigger buttons as well with 300Hz touch sampling rate, dual-pressure touch. There is a 4500mAh battery that charges at up to 55W quick charging via a separately sold charger.
It is coming with Android 10 out of the box and also has a 3.5 mm headphone jack.
OPINION -
In my opinion, this phone is basically for the hardcore gamers but never the less, Nubia red magic 5 is capable of doing all the basic and high end stuffs in day to day life.
