Difference between Machine Learning and
Artificial Intelligence
When we are talking about Artificial Intelligence, then we are not referring to a particular machine or a system. It is a concept that is applied on machines. There are applications of Artificial Intellligence such as symbolic logics : rules engines, expect systems, and knowledge graphs.
Artificial Intelligence is a step beyond Machine Learning.
Machine Learning uses large sets of data and hours of training. But when ML comes to life and moves beyond just programming to behave and interact as humans then AI comes into play.
You may say Machine Learning is just a stepping stone to Artificial Intelligence.

Machine Learning is one of the applications of artificial intelligence. It provides the ability to the machine to automatically learn and improve from the earlier experience without being commanded by the programmer or the user.
This field of study focuses on the development of the computer so that it can develop intelligence ( same as we do while studying artificial intelligence) to access the processed program and learn from that data on it's own.
The primary aim of Machine Learning is to allow the computer to learn automatically without the user's intervention or assistance and do the actions accordingly.
Machine Learning is one the most exciting technologies which you might ever encounter. It makes the machines more similar to humans.
ML is being actively used today and so it is considered as one of the height reaching technologies these days.
According to Wikipedia, if we talk about it in the language of science then we can define it as,
Machine Learning is the scientific study of algorithms and statistical models that computer system use to perform a specific task without using explicit instructions, relying on patterns and interference instead.
